In observation of April being National Child Abuse Prevention Month, the Bethany College Criminal Justice Department is hosting an expert discussion panel. Guest speakers include Sergeant AJ Elmer of the McPherson County Sheriff’s Office, Anna Hultquist Erickson Ph.D., Bethany College Alum Chelsea Sutton of Salina Child Advocacy and Parenting Services (CAPS), and Reyna Banda-Torres of Salina CAPS. Each panel member will present from their unique perspective on the topic, and after the presentations have concluded there will be a question/answer session. The event will be held from 7p to 9p on the 21st of April, 2022, in the Nelson Lecture Hall on the Bethany College campus at 335 E Swenson St, Lindsborg, Kansas. The event is free and is open to the public.
