Press Release: Bethany College Criminal Justice Department

Bethany criminology students recently engaged in a live Zoom call with Officer Dareick Barr of the United States Capitol Police. Officer Barr provided a brief overview of the history, mission, organization, and requirements for the USCP. The call was very interactive with many questions being asked. Among other things, students learned Officer Barr was on Covid quarantine during the Jan 6 incident, and that USCP officers travel worldwide protecting legislative officials. Several non-CJ majors were present and participated in the event.
